Steel Dynamics UK is the UK's dedicated stainless steel processor - not a multi-metal distributor - supplying nuclear, aerospace, defence and critical infrastructure.

We supply European-origin stainless plate, sheet and profiles with full certification and unbroken traceability from mill to finished part, processed on advanced cutting and machining equipment. Our teams work directly with specifiers, fabricators and OEMs to align stock strategy with live projects.

Stainless steel processing capabilities

As a dedicated processor controlling the full value chain under one roof, we combine large-format plate processing with precision cutting and machining, with no breaks in traceability and no handovers between sites.

Fibre laser cutting

Using the latest 30 kW fibre laser machines, we profile stainless, duplex and super duplex plate up to 8m × 2.5m with tight tolerances for repeatable nuclear, offshore and infrastructure components.

Plate sawing

Large-format plate saws and profiling equipment produce accurate blanks, billets and sections, reducing on-site preparation and improving material yield for fabrication and machining operations.

Waterjet cutting

The UK’s largest 14m × 4m waterjet cutting machine delivers cold cutting of thick and heat-sensitive plate, including multi-material and clad components, without introducing heat-affected zones.

Press braking

CNC press brakes and forming capability deliver precise folded stainless components, reducing weld length, fit-up time and handling on complex fabrications and modular assemblies.

Plasma cutting

High-definition plasma and oxy-fuel systems provide efficient cutting of heavy stainless plate and large fabrications, combining productivity with reliable edge quality for structural and process applications.

CNC machining

In-house CNC milling, CNC lathe turning and bevelling deliver stainless steel components to tight dimensional tolerances, ready for fabrication or assembly in demanding applications.
